How Do You View Indifference?

Indifference continues to be in my opinion the “unstoppable giant” today in our society. In my executive coaching of C-Suite Executives, I find there is a great deal of  indifference taking place within various companies. The indifference i speak of is in their products/services, and with the people that exist with the organization.

As a leader, how often do you stop to think about how much indifference is taking place within your culture? Have yo asked yourself questions like:

* Where does my company stand in the minds of those “internal and external” customers we serve?

* Are our employees possibly indifferent to their roles and each other within our company?

* Are our executive leaders and middle managers possibly conveying indifference mindsets and behavior?

*  Is there an apathy being demonstrated presently by an absence of emotional reactions with my department associates, and what shall I do?

Never forget this statement I read many years ago: OUR INABILITY TO FORGET IS “FAR MORE DEVASTATING” THAN OUR ABILITY TO REMEMBER!  Think about and and how you will approach your team in the transitioning of more positive thinking and sense of urgency taking place.
